Our mission at Promising Ventures is to connect students to people and experiences that will accelerate entrepreneurial aspirations toward the creation of high impact ventures. We believe students here at Taylor have ideas that can help their community, and we want to help them take the next step to making those ideas a reality!
Our Core Values
Risk
Learn through failure. Through it, we increase responsibility but decrease identity. Because our identity is not in our level of success, we have the ability to take calculated risks toward our ventures in hopes of bringing the Kingdom closer to others.
Imagination
Choose to think. We seek to encourage students to not simply follow but to be thought leaders and innovators.
Collaboration
Seek connection. We want to connect students to people because we believe connection is the key to success. Relationship is what we were made for and collaboration makes relationship happen.
Truth
Ground your convictions. We cannot be grounded in truth without proximity to the source of truth, and we believe that source is Jesus. Within knowing who Jesus is, we can explore new ideas in hopes of learning and flourishing.
